So, I got SpamAssassin working again on my server, and I wanted to check it. So I tell Tina, my dear girlfriend: “Hey, send me an email so I can test my spam filter”.

And this is the email I got… Which did not qualify as spam.

Logjam informs me it has been 99 days since I last logged in. Hmm.

So, lots of not-nice things have happened recently. My laptop died (the fan stopped working), my server died while I was trying to rescue data from the laptop harddrive. Luckily I had P3 450 in my closet, and spoony helped me set it up. She’s great with hardware. However, about a week later that died too. The fan stopped working! LOL.

So, spoony gave me her server, which she hasn’t been using due to not having a public IP. So, for the time being hardison.net is running on Titania, rather than Odin. It’s using odin’s harddrive, so nothing was lost.

In spite of all the hardware nastiness, life has been fun. Especially regarding spoony.

Let’s see. Spoony and I went to SeaWorld again, two weekends ago, on the way to visit her grandmother. That was nice.

I used my savings to buy a new laptop, so that I can continue to do work stuff! And it shipped today, so it’ll be here soon. :-) Spoony orded one too, in fact. They’re Turion 64′s, and well under $700 after rebate.

I have been getting somewhat regular work from Mario, so I hope to make up for the expense of the laptop soon. We’ll see if that actually happens…

I really ought to update this thing more often than every three months. Perhaps I’ll start posting notes on my various programming projects here.
