This weekend was lazy, spent hangng around the house with Tina. Saturday evening we went to a Startrek party, as we were invited by my friend Dave (bip0lar67). We had fun, and saw a really oddly dress guy, wearing a white cocktail suit.
I also worked on a few projects. Mostly haver and bake. I pondered an ocaml haver-server (because bdonlan has written one in erlang), and answered questions about the haver spec.
Prompted by those questions, I spent a lot of time updating the haver manual today, while sitting bored at Tina’s mother’s house.
Also, haverdev.org was to expire on the 12th, which is today… So I gave Tina $15 in cash, and she paid it using her debit card (as I don’t have a debit card ATM).
Any people working on haver, please send her a thank-you email. Her address is spoonyspork [at] gmail.com :) I’m sure she’ll get a kick out of receiving several thank-yous from strange online people. Well, at least, she’ll kick me out for orchestrating it…
You should get one of those debit cards. They’re useful things.
Yup. Besides, imagine that something goes wrong. Bank accounts are things people tend to be rather touchy about, and making a problem that should have been your somebody else’s can be nasty.
Not like they’re hard to get either. Although on my first attempt to get one they actually told me that I’d probably lose money with it. I must look younger than I am, or something ;-)
